Reverend Reinhard Ijeh, a pastor at Nobles Family Church, Apo, Abuja, Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory, on Sunday declared that “Something is about to happen.”
Taking his text from Is. 54:1-3 and Is. 43: 18, 19, the pastor came out thunderously with the prophetic declaration.
“Any miraculous occurrence engenders excitement. It triggers celebration and testimony. When a barren woman receives conception miraculously and gives birth to a child, there is joy. When someone who has carried an infirmity for a long time, suddenly receives divine healing, there is testimony. When a child who had lost both parents in life goes through turbulence of life without anybody giving him a chance to succeed, breaks even and succeeds in life, there is celebration. But these are not what I am talking about,” he said.
“God is about to do something so new and so strange that it will baffle everybody around you. It is going to be what you have never seen or imagined before. That is why he is saying in Isaiah 43; 18, 19, Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?….”
Ijeh, however, said that there is need for preparation to partake of the new thing. “If you fail to prepare for this great thing God is about to do, you might miss it,” he said.
According to him, one must prepare physically, mentally and spiritually to key into the new thing that God is about to do.
